If you deprive the body of its usual dose of caffeine - and many people with low blood pressure find it difficult to work without it and generally exist in harmony with the world - then it will give a not-so-pleasant reaction. For example, irritability and drowsiness, which there will be no way to cope with. What to do in this case? If you are an avid coffee lover and cannot imagine your life without a morning cup of coffee, do not deny yourself this pleasure. Just remember that surrogates are not suitable for you now - brew coffee in a Turkish coffee pot and do not add sugar to it. As a rule, many people have enough coffee in the form of breakfast. I drank a cup and didn’t feel like eating for at least another hour. This is a very positive thing, but watch yourself carefully because your body's reactions may change during the diet.

Milk and kefir

The story with milk lovers is the same as with coffee lovers. This product has long been recognized as special because it cannot be combined with any other product. Therefore, if you can hardly imagine your life without milk, drink it separately from those dishes that your diet prescribes for you. Milk contains calcium, a lot of useful vitamins and minerals. But look at the calorie content of the product, because there are many industrial varieties of milk with various additives that also add calories. And don't fool yourself by actively consuming vanilla or chocolate milk, thinking that it's just healthy. It's also high in calories!

With kefir the situation is much simpler. He is needed, necessary, especially if you love him. A glass of kefir at night - and you can rest assured about your digestion. Enriched kefirs with bifidobacteria and lactobacteria, as well as fortified ones, are especially useful. However, keep in mind that there are diets that do not favor dairy and fermented milk products, so be careful. If the ban on them is strictly prescribed, try to abstain from both milk and kefir.

Curdled milk, fermented baked milk, matsoni and other fermented milk products can also occupy a worthy place in the diet, but even in this case you need to take into account the amount consumed and decide whether they will interfere with the main idea of ​​your diet.

It is not recommended to drink kumiss and ayran during a diet - they greatly stimulate the appetite.

What is kefir good for?

  • Kefir improves metabolism, normalizes blood circulation and reduces excess body weight, if any. It is advisable for patients with atherosclerosis and hypertension to drink low-fat kefir, as they are advised to reduce the amount of fat in their diet.
  • If you have gastritis or a stomach ulcer, you should not drink kefir, only milk. But when you are in the recovery stage, the body can be helped with kefir, and always weak, one-day use.
  • If intestinal diseases have entered the chronic stage, you need to drink about 3 glasses of kefir per day and include acidophilus. If you have urolithiasis, you can make kefir cocktails with any berries and fruits (except cranberries and lingonberries). Apricots, plums, strawberries, wild strawberries and even parsley, dill and celery are great.
  • In case of infectious diseases, it is important to support the body as it fights infection. Kefir is very useful in such situations.
  • Kefir with chopped parsley and celery perfectly lifts your mood, has a beneficial effect on the kidneys and relieves fatigue.
  • If you add 2 tbsp to a glass of kefir. beet juice, 1 tsp. drink from rose hips and the juice of one lemon, you get a magical mixture that restores strength.

Alcoholic drinks

It would seem that the answer is clear - alcohol should not be among the products that enter our body during a diet. But everything is not so clear. If we are talking about strong alcohol, it is better to refrain from taking it. Again, a good cognac for a digestif can be beneficial, as it promotes digestion, tones the intestines and cleanses the blood vessels. Liqueurs and other drinks that actively use sugar should be left until “better times.” Wine is a different matter, but the principle is the same: leave semi-sweet and sweet ones aside and use only dry ones. A glass of wine contains all the vitamins and microelements we need. But only if you drink wine of decent quality, and do not put on the table a product made from wine materials and bottled at one of the factories near Moscow. Wine dilates blood vessels, improves metabolism, and a glass for dinner, especially if the wine is combined with the dish you have chosen, can only be beneficial. In addition, we should not forget about the pleasure factor, which greatly contributes to a person’s existence in harmony with himself. Diet for most people is an unplanned stress, and if there is an opportunity to help yourself relax and enjoy a nice wine, why not? You just need to remember about quality and quantity - a glass does not mean half a bottle. Which wine to prefer - red or white - is a matter of taste and compatibility of the drink with the main dish. If you have a piece of boiled meat for dinner, red, light and unobtrusive will do. If fish or vegetables - white.

Beer does not reduce appetite, but rather increases it. But, if we lived in Prague, we could recommend drinking wonderful unfiltered, light or dark, during the diet. Our store-bought beer is not recommended, since, most likely, it will do harm rather than good.

This is what our grandmothers called a decoction of dried fruits - apricots, apples and prunes. For 1 liter of broth you will need a handful of dried fruits, thoroughly washed beforehand. Throw them into boiling water, boil for 10-15 minutes and put them in the cold to cool. Drink a glass when you really want to eat.

Compotes

This may surprise you, but compotes can perfectly saturate you. Especially if you cook them from fresh apricots, raspberries, strawberries, cherries or mulberries. There is no need to add sugar; you can add a tablespoon of honey to 2 liters of water - then the compote will acquire a richer taste.

Kvass

It's especially good if you make it yourself. It not only invigorates and refreshes, but also reduces appetite. It’s better to forget about purchased carbonated kvass - it’s not for you now.
