Every girl wants to have a slim and fit figure. A woman who has crossed the threshold of her 30th birthday often finds it difficult to achieve this goal without the use of additional methods. If we consider surgery as one of these methods, it is worth remembering the long recovery period after it. Many representatives of the fair sex are put off by this method precisely because of the long rehabilitation, because at the pace of modern everyday life there is no time to get sick.
Injection lipolysis
For many, it will be good news that liposuction can be performed without surgery. This technique is called non-surgical lipolysis. Such therapy will be appreciated by people who are very active in everyday life, because they simply do not have time to stay in a hospital.
The method involves injecting a mixture of substances that have a breaking down effect on fat deposits. Injection lipolysis helps fight fat in certain problem areas of the body. The procedure has an effect on fat cells, due to which their size is reduced, without affecting the quality of the skin.
With this procedure you can get rid of excess fat
As a result of the harmful effects of external factors on the skin, blood and lymph circulation deteriorates, which contributes to disruption of fluid movement in the body. In the cellular units of fat, oxygen starvation and lack of nutrition are observed, which provokes a slowdown in metabolic processes. The result is the degeneration of cellular units, their walls become denser and thicker.
A little about the method
We will not hide the fact that manipulation can be painful; after the end of therapy, swelling, redness and pain appear at the puncture sites. This condition can last up to 7 days.
After administration of the drug, pain may be felt at the puncture site.
How to care for the skin after the procedure : for 3-7 days it is necessary to use special products to reduce swelling and strengthen blood vessels (“BruiseOFF”, “Traumel”).
Routine : to start the process of cleansing the body, you need to follow the drinking regime - drink 1.5-2 liters of clean water per day, avoid immersion in hot water, going to saunas and solariums, physical activity is prohibited until swelling, pain and burning sensations pass .
It is important to drink plenty of water after the procedure
Course therapy : it is necessary to conduct 3-6 sessions with an interval of 1-2 months.
Which areas are targeted more thoroughly? You will have to more carefully correct the area of the upper and middle third of the abdomen, the waist area, the double chin and the hump that forms at the back of the lower part of the neck.
Combination with other methods : can be combined with lymphatic drainage procedures, since their goal is to detox the body and remove decayed components.
Injection lipolysis can be combined with other cosmetic procedures
Lipolitics and their action
Hello, dear blog readers! Have you ever wondered what price you are willing to pay for an ideal figure? I know girls who decided to undergo surgery for the sake of the coveted volume. However, in many cases, it is not necessary to put yourself at risk. There are special drugs - lipolytics for weight loss, which help get rid of fat deposits. Today I will tell you about this in detail.
What are lipolytics
In cosmetology, there are many ways to improve body volume. Well-known weight loss creams, anti-cellulite massages and body wraps do not always bring the desired result. Even by following a diet and exercising, it is not always possible to completely correct problem areas. It is for this purpose that lipolytics are used.
These are special injections that are injected into the subcutaneous fat layer and activate the lipolysis process.
As a result of this chemical reaction, fat is broken down into acids. With the help of the active components of the drug, they are easily removed from the body.
This is truly a solution to the problem of “spot” fat loss. As I already wrote in the article fat burners for weight loss, it will not be possible to remove extra pounds in just one zone. This process always occurs evenly. Lipolitics are injected locally into problem areas and break down fat deposits where it is needed. So don't try to look for them in tablets or ointments. These drugs only need to be injected into areas that require correction.
How they work and which zones can be adjusted
All lipolytic drugs have the same mechanism of action. Once in adipose tissue, the substance causes an increase in intracellular pressure. Fat cells are broken down into their components. Their breakdown products, i.e. fatty acids enter the lymph and blood. They are then eliminated from the body by the kidneys and liver.
Injection lipolysis is used to solve aesthetic problems in the hips, buttocks and abdomen. This method is also actively used to correct the shape of the face and remove a double chin. The drugs cope well with excess fat deposits in the neck, arms and back.
Indications for the use of this type of aesthetic medicine may also be:
- local fat folds in the chin, eyelids and nose;
- hormonal humps and wen;
- various stages of cellulite;
- aesthetic defects after surgery.
Reviews of those who tried the procedure with before and after photos
Body correction using injections with lipolytic drugs has its own characteristics. This procedure is relatively safe and more gentle than liposuction. However, its effect on the body varies. Accordingly, beauty injections may not give the result you expected. Look what those who have already tried them on themselves say about lipolytics. + below are photos of the results of applying this procedure.
Marinka 33 : I was given injections in the area of my knees and inner thigh. The result was not immediately noticeable, it took 3 sessions. Now I’m trying to remove the fold on my stomach with the help of cocktails with lipolytics
Natalya : I corrected the hip area with injections, I wanted to remove the riding breeches. After the procedure, I looked terrible. The doctor sent me for a massage. She scared the masseur half to death with her legs. He said that he had only seen this after sports injuries. The bruises and bumps did not go away for a long time, even after a massage. Something didn’t work out for me with beauty injections. Maybe such a specialist, maybe the sensitivity of the body ((
Ani : They gave me injections in the chin. The procedure went well, without complications, fortunately only a little bit of cleaning was needed. After a few days I see the result. The contour has become clearer, the face looks younger.
Sveta : I tried injecting lipolytics on my face, thighs and buttocks. Not only are there zero results, but the swelling is terrible. I struggled with beauty for several weeks, and I won’t try it again.
Lora : I also injected my face in the chin area and knees. Of course there was swelling, but not severe. But the result is noticeable and the volume actually decreases. I hope this method will help me, because I’m unlikely to decide on surgery.
Procedure and results
The procedure for administering lipolytics is simple, but requires special knowledge and training. It should only be carried out by a person with a medical education who has undergone preliminary training. It is also necessary to properly prepare for injections. On this day it is important to follow some rules:
- Do not expose the body to high temperatures (hot shower, sauna, bathhouse, etc.);
- Avoid drinking hot drinks and alcohol;
- do not visit the swimming pool, water park, etc. places with chlorinated water.
First, the specialist identifies problem areas and individually selects the drug and its dosage. At the beginning of the procedure, it is necessary to treat the surface of the skin with an antiseptic.
The use of lipolytics does not require pain relief. For maximum patient comfort, a special anesthetic cream is used. Injections are administered with very thin needles into the subcutaneous fat layer approximately 12 mm. The skin is then treated with an antiseptic and soothing agent.
After completing the procedure, the patient should be at rest and rest for at least half an hour. Be sure to monitor your water balance and drink clean water. As a result of injections, slight swelling, redness and bruising may appear. Don't worry. The rehabilitation period is quite fast. The discomfort should go away within a few days.
Cooling compresses can be used to relieve pain. After the procedure, physical activity, visiting the bathhouse, sauna and solarium are excluded.
Injections are carried out in courses with a break of several weeks
The result is not immediately visible. It will take some time to remove decay products and restore. Basically, it takes 2-3 weeks after completing the course.
Depending on the condition of the problem area, additional supporting procedures may be performed. For example, lymphatic drainage massage is often used to enhance the effect. This allows you to activate lymph flow, eliminate swelling, and prevent the occurrence of fibrosis. The first massage session should be no earlier than 5-7 days after the injections.
Contraindications to the use of lipolytics
Compared to radical methods of plastic surgery, beauty injections seem absolutely safe. This is truly a gentler and simpler procedure than liposuction. However, not everyone can try it for themselves. The list of contraindications to these injections is quite long:
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- there are diseases of the liver, kidneys, urinary tract;
- there are inflammations on the skin in the injection area;
- there is a tendency to allergies;
- you have dilated veins or spider veins;
- exacerbation of chronic diseases;
- various endocrine diseases, including diabetes;
- poor blood clotting, etc.
Be aware of these restrictions and do not expose yourself to unnecessary risks. If you have any concerns about a medical condition, please consult your physician.
Possible side effects
If you choose the wrong lipolytic or calculate its amount for injection, then unpleasant consequences are possible. In this case, the rehabilitation process will be quite difficult and long.
Perform the procedure only in specialized institutions with competent specialists with medical education
If mistakes were made, patients often experience large swelling, hematomas, and redness. An allergy to the components of the drug, thickening or numbness of the tissue at the injection site may occur. Disorders of the digestive and genitourinary systems are also not uncommon in this case. If hygiene rules are poorly observed, an increase in body temperature and rashes are possible.
Drug rating and price
The effectiveness of beauty injections largely depends on the composition of the injections. All preparations are made on the basis of lecithin with the addition of other auxiliary elements. In aesthetic medicine, direct and indirect lipolytics and combined agents, so-called “cocktails,” are used.
The first type of lipolytic agents includes:
- Phosphatidylcholine - it ensures the normalization of metabolic processes in cells. Thanks to it, tissues are supplied with oxygen and protein and lipid metabolism is regulated. Suitable for eliminating small local deposits in the thighs, buttocks and abdomen. Actively used for facial correction.
- Sodium deoxycholate is a naturally occurring chemical compound. It is part of the bile of humans and other mammals. The action of this substance is aimed at destroying the membranes of fat cells. Thanks to this, the process of losing weight occurs faster. The drug is effective for extensive fat deposits in the waist, inner and outer thighs. Often used to eliminate a double chin.
Caffeine, artichoke, green tea extracts, guarana and others have a certain lipolytic effect. These components are often used in complex preparations.
Multi-component products are considered the most effective. I have selected for you some of the best and most commonly used drugs:
MPX complex
One of the most powerful lipolytic agents. It contains all the necessary components for the rapid breakdown of fats and tissue restoration. After administration of this drug, swelling, inflammation and redness on the skin are minimal. The price of the procedure depends on the problem area into which the injection is given. For the face - an average of 3,000 rubles, for hips and buttocks - 6,000 rubles.
The main component of this product is sodium deoxycholate. With its help, the fat layer disappears evenly, leaving no bumps or marks on the skin. The drug is actively used for delicate and sensitive areas of the face. Their correction will cost approximately 2500 - 3000 rubles. Effectively copes with fat folds on the waist, removes “breeches”. The estimated cost of such procedures is 6,000 - 9,000 rubles.
Dermastabilon
Another quite popular lipolytic complex. Most often used for the abdomen, back and buttocks. Can be used to correct arms and knees. The course is approximately 10 procedures. Depending on the injection zone, the price of the procedure can range from 5,000 to 8,000 rubles.
Dermaheal LL
An effective remedy for combating cellulite and sagging problem areas. The active components of the drug include L-carnitine, phosphatidylcholine, hyaluronic acid and amino acids. This complex allows you to simultaneously remove excess fat, tighten and smooth the skin.
Revital Celluform
Complex product based on phosphatidylcholine. Also contains nicotinic acid, vitamins and amino acids. With its help, excess volume is removed from the waist and hips, and the shoulders, arms and knees are corrected. The cost of the procedure can reach up to 10,000 rubles.
Reviews from cosmetologists
Despite the widespread popularity of lipolytics, the attitude of specialists towards them is ambiguous. Many cosmetologists and plastic surgeons actively use them in their practice. However, there are those who doubt their effectiveness. Let's look at doctors' reviews of these products.
Olga Nikolaevna : I believe that the use of lipolytic drugs in mesotherapy is ineffective. At least for the purpose of losing weight. Proper nutrition and physical activity in this case will give much more. You cannot create an ideal figure with injections alone.
Elena Cosmetologist : Of course, you can lose weight from lipolytics, but only temporarily. Fat tissue is completely removed only with liposuction. I have used various drugs and some of them are really effective. Injected into the abdomen and back.
Maria Alexandrovna : First of all, there is no need to use lipolytics as a means to combat excess weight. Even traditional surgery is not a panacea for cellulite and obesity. Moreover, it is impossible to remove a significant amount of fat using injections.
Katerina Vasilievna : This is only an auxiliary therapy for figure correction. I do not believe that injections can significantly affect body volume. Beautiful shapes always require extra effort.

How to maintain results after injections
Lipolytic drugs are intended to correct aesthetic defects in the figure. Don't try to solve your weight problems at their expense.
Injections will help to cope only with local fat deposits if the weight is close to normal
It is much easier to give an injection than to maintain the resulting effect. If you want to maintain the results for a long time, adhere to the following rules.
- Balanced diet. Following a balanced protein diet will ensure proper metabolism and speed up the process of fat breakdown. This will help avoid excess fat accumulation. It is necessary to limit fatty and carbohydrate-rich foods and avoid overeating.
- Active lifestyle. Regular exercise will help you burn off excess calories faster. Energy will not be stored as fat tissue. In addition, physical activity accelerates metabolic processes and improves blood supply to tissues.
- Water balance. After the procedure and throughout the entire recovery period, you need to drink a lot of water. This will help quickly remove fat breakdown products from the body and improve lymph flow. It is advisable to drink clean water. It is better to avoid carbonated and sweet drinks.
- Preventative examination. Regular visits to a cosmetologist are also necessary to consolidate the result. He will be able to monitor progress and adjust the schedule of supporting procedures.
As you already understand, lipolytics are not fat burners that you can easily buy at the pharmacy. Their use requires good health and the absence of contraindications. Without supporting procedures and a healthy lifestyle, you can’t do it either. You should always work on yourself so that the results before and after will pleasantly please you??
I hope I answered most of your questions. I look forward to new comments and suggestions from you. If you want to thank me, share this article on social networks. See you soon!
Sincerely, Olga Sologub
What is injection lipolysis?
The introduction of fat-burning cocktails into tissues using injections has the same goal as ordinary liposuction performed surgically - the destruction of fat cells. The reaction of lipolysis (decomposition of fat cell units) is realized through the action of chemicals that are introduced under the skin layers by injection. As soon as the drug reaches its target, the destruction of fat deposits begins.
It is clear that, unlike surgical intervention, everything will proceed more slowly. A course of therapy is required. Its duration will depend on the thickness of the fat deposits. The specialist conducting the therapy can add to the combination of lipolytic drugs a drug that helps improve blood flow, lymph outflow, and remove excess water from the body. There is no pain during the manipulation, it will not take much time, you can immediately return to your normal rhythm of life and not have to recover in a hospital setting.
The breakdown of fat deposits after exposure to special preparations does not occur too quickly
The slow progression of the fat-burning reaction allows you not to worry about sagging skin - their tone will not be impaired. However, it should be noted that the procedure should not be considered as a way to quickly lose weight. If you think that you can neglect proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle and achieve the desired slimness only through injection lipolysis, this is a big misconception. The components of lipolytic drugs will not help reduce hunger, speed up metabolism, or change taste preferences. The technique only helps a person who seeks to independently change his body for the better.
This method can help correct problem areas, but not completely lose weight.
What is laser liposuction?
Laser lipolysis is a modern, effective procedure for improving the figure and correcting body contours by destroying fat without surgery . This procedure is based on laser technology, so it has its own characteristics.
During this liposuction, special pads equipped with laser diodes that emit cold spectrum light are applied and attached to the problem area. Its wavelength is 650 or 940 nm. That is why this technique is often called “cold laser lipolysis.” However, this does not mean that low temperatures are used during the procedure; the patient does not experience any unpleasant sensations during the procedure. In addition, it is considered completely safe.
Features of the technique
During the session, the laser beam acts selectively on fat cells in places where they accumulate .
At the same time, other surrounding structures are not damaged, only the permeability of the adipocyte membranes into which enzymes penetrate increases. Moreover, the beam triggers biochemical enzymatic reactions, during which fat breaks down into water, glycerol and fatty acids. Moreover, the former, due to their low molecular weight, small size and increased permeability of the adipocyte membrane, are able to easily enter the intercellular space. After this, they travel through the lymphatic ducts to the liver, where they are used as material for creating new cells and even a source of energy. All excess leaves the body with urine and bile.
When fat is released from adipocytes , they become smaller in volume and break down. Accordingly, the contours of the body are also reduced. This effect is based on the same processes that occur in the body when losing weight naturally.
One lipolaser procedure lasts about 30 minutes. To achieve a lasting result, of course, it is better to undergo at least 6-10 sessions. After liposuction, you can go home within an hour. A noticeable effect should be expected only after 2-4 weeks.
Using a lipolaser
With the help of a cold laser, you can not only reduce body weight, but also improve its contours. Basically, this technology, which allows you to achieve an effect in a short time, is used for correction before a special event or vacation. In addition, a similar technique is often used to get rid of fat in certain areas:
- posterior surface of the chest;
- waist and abdomen;
- inner surface of the hands;
- thighs, legs and knees;
- areas of the buttocks and riding breeches;
- neck;
- chin and cheeks.
For some of these areas, traditional technology is not enough, however, lipo laser helps to achieve good results in them.
Problem areas
The use of injection lipolysis is possible in areas with excessive fat deposition, these include:
- chin area;
- stomach;
- knees;
- shoulders;
- hips;
- sides;
- buttocks.
This procedure can be performed in different parts of the body.
Note! The smaller the area being corrected, the brighter and clearer the result awaits the patient.
The principle of operation and subtleties of the procedure
It should be noted that the use of this method is possible only for those patients whose body fat is small. If the patient is too fat, you should not expect miracles from the procedure. Before starting the procedure by introducing lipolytic drugs under the skin, you need to carefully study the following indications.
- Small deposits of fat localized in the chin, abdomen, gluteal and thigh areas, shoulders and neck.
- Accumulation of fat in the joints and back area.
- Hernia in the eye area and other areas of the facial area.
- The presence of orange peel, which is not corrected by other methods.
Cellulite can also be eliminated with injection lipolysis
Important! The result achieved through a course of injection lipolysis therapy must be maintained with proper diet and physical activity.
The subtleties of the method are as follows.
- It is important to undergo a certain number of procedures during the course. Only a specialist who has carried out a preliminary inspection can tell how many of them will be needed. After performing 1-2 injections, a visible result, as a rule, is not yet observed.
- In order for the achieved result to be consolidated, you need to repeat the course after several weeks.
- After completing the procedure, it is important to drink 2 liters of fluid per day and increase physical activity. Dietary nutrition will help maintain the achieved effect and improve it.
- Some time after injection lipolysis, you can begin lymphatic drainage massage sessions.
After the procedure, it is recommended to follow a diet to maintain the results.
An important note is that when resorting to injection lipolysis, wen or fatty tumors of any type cannot be eliminated. This is due to the fact that the dense connective tissue of the outer area of the tumor will not allow fat to be released into the space between the cells.
pros
Compared to many other cosmetic procedures, the method of introducing lipolytic drugs by injection has a number of advantages.
- Using the technique, it is possible to easily and quickly eliminate fat deposits in problem areas that cannot be eliminated with proper nutrition and physical activity.
- The time for administering a lipolytic cocktail will not exceed more than 20-30 minutes.
- The procedures are not performed using any skin incisions, so there is no need to worry about scarring.
- There is no long rehabilitation period.
Injection lipolysis has a short rehabilitation period - Minimum of adverse reactions.
- There is no need to change your usual rhythm of life or take a break from work.
- After reducing the volume, there is no sagging of the skin.
- A fat cell that is eliminated by a lipolytic drug will not be able to recover.
- After the introduction of lipolytic agents, skin tissues look fresh and toned.
- With proper nutrition and exercise, the effect of the procedure will last longer.
- Injection lipolysis goes well with other techniques and procedures aimed at weight loss.
- Before the procedure, no anesthetic is required, since there is virtually no pain.
This procedure has many advantages
What is the difference between lipolysis and mesotherapy?
Many people confuse mesotherapy and lipolysis. They have one thing in common - both procedures are carried out using injections. However, in their essence and mechanism of action, these are completely different processes.
The main differences between mesotherapy and lipolysis are the depth of the puncture and, of course, the purpose of application. Lipolitics are injected to a depth of at least 10 mm under the skin to eliminate local fat deposits and cellulite. Whereas with mesotherapy, the injection is injected at 6 mm, and the goals of such a procedure are rejuvenation, increasing elasticity and evening out skin color.
In other words, it is the lipolytic procedure that is aimed at combating excess weight. Mesotherapy is used only to improve the condition of the skin. This procedure is more superficial, because the injections are not administered as deeply as with lipolysis and the drug does not affect fat deposits.
How do modern lipolytic drugs work and what do they consist of?
All lipolytics of the modern generation contain the active component sodium deoxycholate or its combination with phosphatidylcholine. Deoxycholic acid is a component produced in the gastrointestinal tract in the normal state through the process of dehydroxylation of primary acids based on bile.
Phosphatidylcholine is the main lipid component of the cell membrane. During grinding, liposomes are formed in the water resource of phosphatidylcholine.
Most lipolytics are based on sodium deoxycholate and phosphatidylcholine
Many studies conducted by scientists were aimed at identifying the role of all these substances in the lipolytic reaction and studying the degree of possible damage to cellular units by them, and also identifying the ability to cause inflammatory processes.
In 2008, a single-blind, randomized trial found that patients treated with phosphatidylcholine/sodium deoxycholate had reduced rates of ecchymosis, firmness, and pain compared with a single dose of deoxycholate.
In 2014, scientists from Korea conducted their own test, the results of which were that deoxycholic acid is the main cause of the inflammatory process after the introduction of the solution. With a single injection, phosphatidylcholine did not have an inflammatory effect. With a single injection of deoxycholic acid, an increase in markers responsible for the development of the inflammatory response and increased swelling was recorded. The evidence base is that PC does not aggravate the inflammatory process caused by deoxycholic acid.
Studies have proven that the combined use of these substances has a lipolytic effect
Conclusion: it has been experimentally proven that the combination of phosphatidylcholine and sodium deoxycholate gives a less aggressive reaction than a separate and single administration of sodium deoxycholate.
Experts talk about a special phenomenon under the action of phosphatidylcholine - the appearance of liposomes, which delays the tissue reaction. They believe that there is no need to deny the toxic effect of a mixture of deoxycholic acid and phosphatidylcholine due to the preservation of inflammatory reactions. It is more likely to give this a different name - a lower probability of instant loss of vital activity of cellular units, which initially can be mistaken for mild signs of the inflammatory process.
Some techniques help reduce the harsh effects of sodium deoxycholate
There are some methods for reducing the aggressive effects of sodium deoxycholate on organs located nearby (skin, muscle fibers); they are actively used in lipolytic substances of the modern generation. For example, the active component is placed in a gel-like texture to reduce its diffuse activity in tissues, the use of a specialized fan implementation technique, the addition of lidocaine, and the wearing of compression garments after the session.
Note! The combination of these methods makes it possible to reduce adverse reactions that appear during and some time after an injection lipolysis session, for example, pain, swelling, bruising, and the formation of lumps.
Types of lipolysis
There are several types of lipolysis:
- laser;
- ultrasonic;
- needle;
- injection;
- electrode;
- radio wave.
The most effective method in a particular case is selected by a specialist, taking into account the degree of neglect of problem areas and the characteristics of the patient’s body. Each of them has advantages and disadvantages.
Laser lipolysis
The procedure is also called cold or diode lipolysis. It is based on the action of low-intensity laser radiation, which the device delivers in doses under the skin through a special probe, effectively breaking down fat cells. The products formed after breakdown are subsequently eliminated from the body. Cosmetic clinics position this type of lipolysis as an alternative to laser liposuction. The method is completely painless.
Ultrasonic lipolysis
The procedure is based on ultrasonic waves, which have proven effective in many areas of cosmetology. During the session, the specialist attaches pads to problem areas. With their help, an ultrasonic wave of different frequencies is supplied, which helps influence the speed of movement of fat molecules. Thanks to the variable frequency, there is a painless effect on the deep subcutaneous fat layers and activation of enzymes. The procedure involves the use of low frequency ultrasound: up to 24,000 Hz.
This non-invasive method is practiced in a course for a month, 2-3 times a week. After its completion, the skin in problem areas becomes smooth, and the volume decreases well due to the reduction of adipose tissue.
Needle lipolysis
The method involves influencing fat reserves through special needles. An electrical impulse of variable frequency is transmitted through them, which will enhance the effect of lipolysis.
There may be some discomfort at the site of exposure to needles. At the client's request, the specialist can use anesthetic cream or lidocaine.
Injection lipolysis
The technique is often called “weight loss injections.” The mechanism of the procedure is simple and resembles mesotherapy - fat deposits are affected by injections, which include lipolytics. These are special preparations based on phosphatidylcholine, a natural enzyme (lecithin) found in soybeans, eggs, and sunflower seeds. A similar substance is produced by the body itself to support various vital processes, including fat metabolism. In combination with other ingredients, lipolytics allow you to accelerate the breakdown of fat cells and naturally remove them from the body. The procedure brings slight discomfort at the injection sites.
Lipolitics are injected locally into the problem area with a very thin disposable needle to a depth of about 12 mm - into the subcutaneous fat. The duration of the session is 15-20 minutes. To speed up the results and increase the effectiveness of lipolytics, the procedure should be combined with LPG massage, thermolifting, pressotherapy, and pneumomassage.
Electrode lipolysis
The procedure is carried out using electrodes that transmit electrical impulses. They are placed on problem areas of the body. Electrode lipolysis is capable of changing the polarity of cell membranes in tissues and launching an active process of breakdown of subcutaneous fats.
Radio wave lipolysis
The procedure is also called RF lipolysis. It is based on the effect of electric current on human tissue. When the temperature rises by just 10°C when exposed to current, intracellular fat is broken down twice as fast. This explains the principle of operation of radiofrequency lipolysis.
On average, a course of radio wave lipolysis consists of 3-4 procedures with an interval of 10 days. In some cases, the effect is noticeable after the first procedure.
What exactly does a cosmetologist need to be careful of?
Undoubtedly, ideally, any substance with lipolytic action should not reward the patient with a bouquet of side effects that are not very pleasant.
An injection is already a violation of the integrity of the skin, not to mention the very session of introducing lipolytic substances. Initially, you need to think about the systemic reactions of the body and prevent possible complications.
Since the procedure involves damage to the integrity of the skin, the doctor must follow the necessary rules
Common drugs for injection lipolysis
The most common means.
A drug | Description |
Due to the gel properties, uniform distribution in the skin is ensured, and the appearance of bumps is excluded.
Contains two active components.
In addition to active deoxycholate, the composition contains benzopyran, which reduces swelling and inflammation, provokes a rapid oxidative reaction of fatty acids, carnitine and other components.
The substance contains nicotinic acid, which is involved in the synthesis of energy for the body from fatty deposits. In addition to lipolytic, this drug contains a strong vitamin complex and gives a rejuvenating effect.
Important! How often sessions need to be carried out and how long the course of therapy will last will depend on the drug used.
Preparations for the procedure
With the evolution of cosmetology, preparations for injection lipolysis have also improved. At first it was a hypotonic aqueous solution. By the way, this drug is still used today - as an independent remedy and together with other drugs. The mechanism of action was the pressure difference between the solution molecules and the fat cells. The drug contains very little salt, which is why the pressure in it is less than in the cells. As a result, fat cells absorb excess water and rupture.
Sodium deoxylate
Today, sodium deoxylate, a secondary fatty acid, is more commonly used. This substance does not have a direct and aggressive effect on cells. It simply weakens the fat cell membrane, making it vulnerable to other drugs.
Sodium deoxylate is produced by the body, so it is not a foreign element. Allergic reactions or complications do not occur. Deoxylate is not usually used on its own. Along with it, the injection solution contains more aggressive chemicals.
Phosphatidylcholine
Phosphatidylcholine is also a lipid that is produced by our body. It dissolves fat cells, accelerates their emulsification and removal from the body. It is also not used on its own, because it cannot penetrate the cell membrane without sodium deoxylate.
Chin injection lipolysis procedure
These drugs complement each other and fulfill the purpose of liposuction, but injection liposuction involves the use of drugs that are richer in composition, which contain:
- peptides - to accelerate metabolic processes in cells;
- l-kartinin, which emulsifies destroyed fat cells and promotes their excretion into the organs of the endocrine system;
- benzopyrone to prevent swelling and inflammatory reactions;
- plant extracts;
- lidocaine, which has an anesthetic effect;
- amino acids to stimulate intracellular processes;
- procaine is an antimicrobial drug;
- hyaluronic acid to restore skin elasticity;
- vitamin complexes, etc.
This composition is characteristic of the newest drugs developed for injection lipolysis. There are many of them, and most of them are named after world-famous cosmetic brands. You can read more about them in the article about lipolytics.
How is the procedure performed?
Injection lipolysis does not require prior administration of anesthetic drugs, since the procedure is easily tolerated by the patient and there is no pain. The skin at the sites where the drug is introduced is disinfected with an antiseptic, then a lipolytic mixture is injected into certain areas with fatty deposits.
After the session, the patient needs to remain in a horizontal position for about 20-30 minutes and drink 350-500 ml of clean water without gas. The skin at the puncture sites may itch a little, sometimes swelling and redness appear, which will disappear on their own in a few days. After the procedure, wearing a bandage or shapewear is not necessary, because the reduction of adipose tissue will occur gradually, which guarantees a slow tightening of the skin. However, this can be prescribed by your doctor.
After the procedure, the patient needs to drink water
There is no need to take sick leave or limit physical activity after the session. In the first 14-21 days, you should avoid prolonged exposure of the skin to UV radiation, baths and swimming pools. It will be impossible to engage in strenuous sports for some time.
Contraindications to the procedure
Obesity is the main limitation to performing laser liposuction. Unfortunately, with such a problem, the procedure is useless .
When a person has large fat deposits on the legs, abdomen, arms and back, the aesthetic result of breaking down triglycerides in one of these areas will not be effective. Laser lipolysis is not used on large areas, only on selective ones. When a large volume of adipose tissue is broken down, the fat content in the blood may, on the contrary, sharply increase. All this will harm the patient's health.
Although laser liposuction is a gentle procedure, it also has other contraindications . For example, you should not perform it if you have the following diseases:
- Coronary heart disease.
- Diabetes mellitus.
- Blood clotting disorder.
- Varicose veins and other serious pathologies.
It is for this reason that before undergoing this procedure, the patient must be fully examined.
Popular questions
What is the difference between injection lipolysis and mesotherapy?
The main difference is the depth of introduction of the drug. In the case of injection lipolysis, the depth is 12 mm; during a mesotherapy session, the active substance is introduced only 5-6 mm. The main goal of mesotherapy is to nourish the skin, enrich it with vitamins and essential amino acids; injection lipolysis is aimed at destroying fat deposits in problem areas.
How long will the results last?
If a course of treatment has been carried out, the effect will please the patient for a long time. To consolidate the outcome of therapy, 3-5 procedures are required to be repeated after six months; a healthy lifestyle should become a faithful companion.
The result will last long enough if a person adheres to all the recommendations and leads a healthy lifestyle
What is injectable lipolysis combined with?
The procedure is perfectly combined with the following techniques: pressotherapy, LPG massage, thermolifting, anti-cellulite massage, etc.
Are there any complications after the procedure?
Once the drug has been introduced into the skin, swelling and redness may occur. They will disappear on their own. During the first months, pigment spots and hard nodules may be present on the skin. To quickly remove the breakdown products of fatty deposits, lymphatic drainage massage sessions will be required; this can be done after 2-3 weeks.
Swelling and redness may occur after administration of the drug.
Will the method replace surgical liposuction?
Unfortunately no. The technique actively fights only small fat deposits.
How long does course therapy last?
The course includes 6-10 sessions, the interval between them should be 7-14 days. The course can be repeated after 5-6 months.
Usually 6-10 procedures are performed
What is prohibited after an injection lipolysis session?
To reduce the risk of unpleasant phenomena occurring at the sites where injection lipolysis is performed, a number of restrictions must be observed. At the end of the session, itching and burning usually appear, sometimes swelling occurs, and bruising occurs. After the procedure you need:
- avoid physical overexertion;
- do not drink alcohol for the first 1-2 days;
- do not sunbathe or steam in saunas and baths;
- treat injection sites with drugs to reduce inflammation;
- massage the skin at the puncture sites;
- Lymphatic drainage massage is recommended.
After the procedure, you should not sunbathe for some time.
Important! An increase in body temperature and symptoms of food poisoning are normal in the first 24 hours after the procedure. After some time, addiction will occur and the unpleasant sensations will pass.
Laser lipolysis of cheeks
It should be noted that the procedure involves the destruction of fat cells that are not able to change location in the body.
This means that in the place where excess fat was destroyed, new one will never appear. It should also be noted that if the plumpness of the cheeks was formed not due to local deposits, but, for example, due to the presence of “Bishat lumps,” the operation will not give any result.
By making a small puncture under local anesthesia, a micro cannula is inserted through which an invisible laser is exposed.
According to reviews of laser lipolysis of the cheeks, within 2-3 weeks the fat cells treated with the beam are actively destroyed. After this, they are eventually converted into lysate, broken down in the liver and excreted through the bloodstream.
It is necessary to separately note the positive effect of the laser on other tissues. It warms up the layers of the skin. This begins its rejuvenation at the cellular level and provides a tightening effect. The laser immediately seals the damaged vessels and sterilizes the treatment area. The result begins to appear after 10-20 days, the volume of the cheeks decreases, and the cheekbones take on a more sculpted appearance.
What do the experts think?
Ekaterina Ivanovna, cosmetologist
“Lipolytic drugs differ in how they work. Some of them are based on the reduction of fat from adipocytes. In other words, the number of fat cells does not change, but their volume decreases. There are mixtures based on phosphatidylcholine, which has a destructive effect on membranes, so when such drugs are introduced into fatty deposits, their destruction begins.”
Experts talk about the effectiveness of this procedure
Olga Vladimirovna, cosmetologist
“You shouldn’t think that a “fat-burning injection” will solve all your problems with excess weight. The struggle for slimness is an integrated approach; this is the only way to guarantee excellent results without wasting time and financial resources.
Excessive consumption of unhealthy foods and minimal vigorous activity are a direct road to obesity. Injection lipolysis will not help here. It is impossible to eat poorly and not gain weight. The achieved result requires constant support. The introduction of lipolytics is designed to reduce fat deposits in problem areas. Moreover, the smaller the volume, the more expressive the effect will be. If the patient suffers from obesity, then injection lipolysis is simply useless; the selection of other weight loss methods is required.”
Doctors recommend not to rely only on injection lipolysis
Laser lipolysis of the abdomen
Reviews confirm that today this procedure is very popular. Fat deposits become a cause of worry and even tragedy for many representatives of the fair sex. Often, “fat traps” form in problem areas, which are difficult to remove with exercise and diet. The laser procedure helps to completely eliminate such a defect.
For the abdomen, both external and internal lipolysis is often used, depending on the area of manipulation and the severity of the problem. The procedure is quite similar to other interventions; the doctor forms a problem area, and then acts on it with a laser. As a result, you can make your silhouette more toned and attractive.
Patient reviews
Alena, Saratov
“After giving birth, I couldn’t get rid of the fat in my lower abdomen. I constantly went to the gym, didn’t eat anything “harmful”, but it didn’t go away! I didn’t really want to undergo any procedures, I thought that this meant that I had given up... But the doctor explained to me that in such places it is almost impossible to remove fat on your own, and I did the right thing by coming. I completed a course of 5 procedures. The effect, of course, was not visible immediately, but after 3-4 weeks I began to notice very cool changes. The belly is really gone! How important this was for me! I'm very happy. I hope, of course, that I won’t get better again, but if anything happens, I’ll go through this procedure again.”
Patients are satisfied with the results of the procedures
Ksenia, Vladivostok
“I need to lose a lot of weight, and I decided to turn to injection lipolysis. I can’t say that it helped me a lot, but I still saw results. They probably didn’t show up very clearly because I’m overweight. The doctor warned me about this. I will continue to make every effort to lose weight, and then, most likely, I will undergo this procedure again to remove the “residues”.
Reviews
According to experts, when fat deposits are bothered, especially those on the face or other sensitive areas of the body, the use of laser lipolysis is an excellent solution to this problem. You need to make sure that there are no contraindications to such a procedure, stock up on the necessary amount and enjoy the excellent results.
According to customer reviews, the main disadvantage of this procedure is its high cost. It should also be noted that the complex is not suitable for patients who do not want to wear compression garments for a long time after removing fat and undergo a special massage.
As you can see from the photo, the procedure is quite effective and helps many people. It is very important that it is absolutely painless. The advantage of laser lipolysis is that it allows you to eliminate fat in areas that are most difficult to correct with other methods. It should be noted that after lipolysis there are no traces left, and the recovery period as a whole is quite easy.
