High concentrations of glucose and acetone bodies in the blood can lead to an acid-base imbalance in the direction of increasing acidity. Prolonged disturbance of carbohydrate metabolism ultimately leads to diabetic ketoacidotic coma.

Those who are interested in the Dukan diet should know that a positive result without harm to health will only occur if the pancreas is able to produce a sufficient amount of insulin, which reduces the concentration of glucose in the blood.

Low-carbohydrate diets are especially dangerous for people who have metabolic disorders, and they may not even know about it, since these disorders do not manifest themselves in any way with their usual diet. Lean minced meat chops

Statistics say that at this stage the average person loses no more than 400-500 g of weight per week. This means that the diet is far from being as fast and effective as interested parties “trumpet” it.

So what do we have at this stage? Not 72 products, but as many as 100! It's just a celebration of the belly!

The period of losing weight is quite long; you will have to adhere to a special schedule - alternating protein and protein-vegetable days until the weight reaches the desired figure. If you need to lose ten kilograms, then in three months you may not bring yourself to the grave. But it’s scary to think what harm those who need to get rid of 30-40-50 kg do to themselves!

By the way, fruits and complex carbohydrates are still strictly prohibited. It’s good that there is fiber in the form of bran and vegetables have been introduced into the diet - this is already some kind of relief.

Unfortunately, our fellow citizens who want to lose weight on this diet sometimes ignore the required bran due to their lack of availability on the market.
