Stockholm diet for weight loss

Post by Jan E » 05 Nov 2021, 12:43 pm
I like to take care of myself, and even like the fight against excess weight, which (excess), I have a maximum of 5-7 kilograms). This is because it’s easier for me to live like this - I eat for pleasure, don’t deny anything, of course, I get fat, and then I look for different ways to lose weight. And although I have several proven recipes in my piggy bank, from which I know for sure that I will lose weight, sometimes I want to learn something new.

I’m subscribed to one group where we actively discuss new products in different diets, different pills and drops that promise to miraculously get rid of fat, and three months ago I read and tested the Stockholm diet for weight loss . On the Internet it is also sometimes called the Swedish diet .

Basic principles of the Stockholm diet:

1) It, like the “7 petals” diet, is designed for 7 days.

2) The promised weight, subject to strict compliance with the conditions, is a kilogram or more per day, that is, for a week - approximately minus 7-10 kilograms.

Do not order the paid Stockholm diet.

There is a sample menu on the Internet, but I would call it generalized, because ideally, for MONEY, you need to order an individual menu for everyone on the official website, taking into account the personal characteristics of the person (amount of excess weight, height, are there any diseases, contraindications to foods and dishes ).

I didn’t order the menu for myself, but some of my friends from the group paid and bought it. And what is surprising, or maybe vice versa - not surprising - EVERYONE received the same recipes!

the Stockholm diet that would not be in the requirements of other diets :

1) Strict diet.

2) No frying of foods, only raw or stewed vegetables, that is, the oil is removed for a week.

3) Stew, bake, boil the meat.

4) Do not use any spices.

5) It is also advisable to exclude salt, or use it to a minimum.

6) Alcohol - completely remove.

7) Compotes, juices, soda - not a sip.

8) Three meals a day.

9) Pure water in the amount of two liters must be supplied to the body - neither coffee nor tea, no matter how much you drink, is not counted in the total volume. That is an example. Drink 3 cups of tea per day, 200 ml each, plus two liters of water, for a total of 2600 ml per day.

According to the creators of the diet, as a result of a sharp restriction of calories per day, they create stress for the body, that is, you need to abruptly abandon your usual diet and switch to a strict one.

The daily calorie content is very low, approximately 500 calories. That is, not everyone is able to withstand this.

Sample menu of the Stockholm diet:

1 day

W-O-U (breakfast-lunch-dinner): - a plate of buckwheat steamed in the evening with kefir - a vegetable salad with a piece of low-fat cheese and green tea without sugar - stewed mushrooms with chicken, green tea (yes, that's all food all day).

Day 2

Z-O-U: - two boiled eggs, yogurt - a piece of boiled chicken and two boiled potatoes in their skins, coffee without sugar - cabbage salad and a glass of kefir.

Day 3

Z-O-U: - a cup of coffee without sugar, toast with cheese, one boiled egg - vegetable soup with chicken, tea without sugar - oven-baked vegetables (zucchini, tomato, broccoli), a glass of milk.

4 day

Z-O-U: - oatmeal with water, one egg, green tea - buckwheat without salt with boiled chicken, cabbage salad - boiled steamed rice with a piece of beef (also boiled).

5 day

Z-O-U: - a glass of kefir with berries, 5 pieces of nuts - chicken broth with a piece of chicken, vegetable salad, green tea without sugar - fish from the oven and a handful of steamed rice.

Day 6

Z-O-U: - a glass of kefir (yes, just one glass of kefir and that's it) - 200 grams of boiled meat, 2 jacket potatoes, a tomato and a cucumber - 200 grams of cottage cheese with berries.

Day 7

Z-O-U: - oatmeal with milk, an apple - baked fish and mashed potatoes (boil two potatoes in water, mash without adding butter, eggs, milk) - boiled chicken salad. boiled mushrooms and a piece of cheese. Every day you should drink a glass of warm milk at night.

Personally, I changed the menu, added products - more vegetables, more fruits, more yogurt.

The Stockholm diet for weight loss is only for healthy young people. Not everyone can stand it.

My result on the Stockholm diet

I lost 6 kg in a week, but I won’t use this diet anymore. I lose weight just as well on tastier and less hungry diets.

Stockholm diet

The Stockholm, or, as it is often called, the Swedish diet, has long been one of the most effective and popular in the world. According to reviews from those losing weight, with the right approach and minimal willpower, such a dietary regimen will help you get rid of 5-7 kg in a fairly short period of time.

The Stockholm diet for weight loss involves a non-rigid diet with some restrictions, which in its principle is close to a balanced healthy diet.
But in order to achieve the maximum effect, not only to lose extra pounds, but also to maintain normal weight, you must not just blindly follow the rules and instructions, but make it your usual way of eating.

Golden rules of nutrition

The popular Swedish diet is based on the principles of healthy, moderate nutrition. The effectiveness of such a regime lies in the complete exclusion of unhealthy, fatty foods and the replacement of less healthy foods with healthier ones.

The basic rules of the Swedish diet include:

  • Complete exclusion from the diet of fatty foods, salty and sweet snacks, fast food, canned food and smoked meats.
  • Proper heat treatment of food will preserve more vitamins and minerals.
  • Dividing the diet into 3-4 meals a day.
  • Minimize the consumption of salt, pepper, spices and sauces.
  • Reduce caffeine intake.
  • Carrying out a mandatory preparatory stage before the diet, which will avoid stress on the body.
  • The optimal drinking regimen is at least 2 liters of water per day.
  • The basis of the diet is dairy products, cereals and lean meat.

Preparing your body before starting the Swedish diet is an important step. It is this that will help you avoid a sharp jump in nutrition, achieve smooth and natural weight loss without harm to the body.

Methodology from Sweden

The fruit of the work of Scandinavian scientists and nutritionists allows those who want to quickly and safely lose excess weight.

The Swedish diet, like the Dukan diet, contains protein, but is more gentle compared to the second and does not cause as much physical inconvenience and psychological torment.

It is not based on strict prohibitions, but on a balanced diet. Products that are frankly harmful to your figure are excluded:

  • alcoholic drinks;
  • soda;
  • instant porridge and noodles;
  • pasta;
  • mayonnaise, ketchup, factory sauces;
  • sausages;
  • baking;
  • canned food;
  • bread;
  • sugar;
  • chocolate and cocoa.

The Swedish diet includes potatoes, which are prohibited by most other diets. The diet also contains plenty of seafood and fish of various types. However, it is desirable that the fish is not fatty.

In addition to canned food, salted fish should be removed from the menu. It interferes with the removal of water from the body and slows down weight loss.

Stockholm diet - do's and don'ts

As in any other diet, the described diet involves saturating the diet with certain foods and excluding junk food.

In this case, the list of foods that are best avoided is quite impressive. He excludes carbonated drinks, alcohol, coffee, chips, and sweets from his diet.

Please note: In addition, during the period of weight loss, it is recommended to eat food without salt and various seasonings, since it disrupts the water balance in the body and promotes fluid retention.

Swedish food offers a special diet, the basis of which is:

  • dairy products;
  • all kinds of cereals;
  • low-fat meat;
  • eggs;
  • vegetables;
  • fruits and berries;
  • herbal teas and juices.

Usually the preparatory stage takes 3 days, while the diet itself lasts a week. After finishing the diet, it is also necessary to make a smooth three-day exit and transition to the usual regimen.

Pros and cons of the diet

The main advantages of this method of weight loss are:

  • lack of hunger;
  • there is no need to take additional vitamin complexes;
  • cleansing the body of harmful substances;
  • long-term results after finishing the diet;
  • the nutritional plan does not cause stress in the body and is easily tolerated;
  • the diet does not require large financial investments;

Considering all the positive aspects, one cannot ignore the disadvantages of the diet, which include:

  • slow rate of weight loss;
  • a large period of time between meals (nutritionists recommend split meals, but instead of 5-6 meals, only 3-4 are allowed).

Contraindications to this method of losing weight include individual intolerance to the foods on which the diet is based. This diet is not suitable for people with lactose intolerance, because the main breakfast products are fermented milk. This diet is not recommended for people suffering from gastritis and high acidity. If you have problems with the gastrointestinal tract, it is better to start a diet after consulting a nutritionist.

Sample menu for the week

The standard Swedish diet lasts 7 days, but can sometimes be extended at will to 10-14 days. The basic rules for constructing the menu of the Stockholm diet are to distribute slow carbohydrates in the morning, protein foods for lunch and heavy starchy foods for dinner.

Here is an approximate menu for this mode, designed for 7 days of nutrition:

Variations of the Stockholm diet

The popular Swedish diet has different variations and may vary slightly in diet and menu. There are options such as a carbohydrate-free diet and daily meals.

The no-carbohydrate Swedish diet involves a sharp exclusion from the diet of foods that contain carbohydrates, thus provoking the breakdown of glucose in the body. It is based on 5-6 meals a day, involves additional intake of vitamins, building a diet exclusively on proteins and fats. But it is not recommended to adhere to this diet for more than 3 weeks.

Please note: Whatever version of the Stockholm or Swedish diet you choose, it in any case involves avoiding sweets, fatty, salty, spicy, high-fat foods and preservatives.

Meals by day are similar in principle to the popular “6 petals” diet and are based on eating one single product every day. The regimen is designed for 6 days, which include: milk day, chicken day, fruit day, vegetable day, fish day, and cereal day. The effectiveness of this regime increases significantly, but due to its similarity with strict mono-diets, not everyone can maintain such a diet.

Are there any contraindications

Any dietary regimen must be approached with caution, because the wrong approach, sudden transition and illiterate selection of products for the menu can only harm the body. If you have an individual intolerance or allergy to one of the Swedish dietary products, it is best to exclude it.

In addition, it is necessary to refrain from switching to such a regime:

  • pregnant and nursing mothers;
  • teenagers under 18 years of age;
  • pensioners;
  • people with gastritis and stomach problems;
  • for diabetes mellitus;
  • for intestinal diseases;
  • in poor health.

The Swedish systemic diet itself is not dangerous and does not fall into the category of strict mono-diets. Its menu is quite varied and rich in vitamins. The daily dose of calories is 230-250 kcal, but if you have poor health or willpower, you can slightly adjust its menu and add 50-100 kcal to avoid weakness, lethargy and dizziness.

Efficiency and results

The effectiveness of the diet is evidenced by numerous reviews from people who have tried the Stockholm diet from their own experience. However, you should not count on a magical result of minus 7 kg in 7 days, since this, unfortunately, does not happen. This will only undermine your confidence and attitude, so it's best to set realistic goals and celebrate small achievements.

According to the testimony of those losing weight, the Swedish diet regimen really helps to get rid of 5-7 kg over a certain period of time, but for each person such a period of weight loss is purely individual. For some, the first results appeared already in the first week, while for others only a month later. But in any case, the Swedish regime will help not only to lose weight, but also to improve the functioning of the body, improve health and correct defects in appearance.

Recommendations from nutritionists

For weight loss to be most effective, it is recommended to eat at the same time and get a good night's sleep . The correct daily routine will also set the body up for weight loss. If you feel great, you should go to the gym. This will enhance the effect of the diet.

If pain or discomfort appears in the abdomen during the diet, the method should be stopped. It is possible that a person has an individual intolerance. You need to consult a doctor.

Every nation in the world has its own traditions and customs in cooking and nutrition. Choose which diet is closest to you:

  • Chinese;
  • French;
  • eastern;
  • Korean;
  • American

Reviews

Stefania, 32 years old: I’ve already been on a lot of different diets and I can say that the closest one for me is the Stockholm diet, in fact, this is also the same healthy diet, it’s no different from it. I already had experience with diets, so it was easy to give up harmful foods, although I still couldn’t stand it for more than a month. But I know that if I urgently need to lose 6-8 kg, a month of the Stockholm diet is enough.

Alla, 29 years old: The Stockholm diet is the most harmless and very effective if you follow all the rules and include physical activity. I’ve been on this diet for more than a month now, I’m preparing for the New Year holidays and corporate events, I’ve lost 8 kg during this time, an excellent result. All that remains is to tighten the skin and butt and everything will be ideal, but I won’t give up the diet yet, otherwise my efforts were in vain.

Daria, 24 years old: I can’t even call the Stockholm diet a diet, it’s just proper nutrition, and every person who wants to keep fit and not grow old should eat this way. For almost a year I have been eating only the right foods, apparently I am on this diet. Now the weight is no longer coming off, only in the first 4 months I lost 16 kg, but I don’t need more, it will be too much. Now I just maintain the result and take care of the health of the body and stomach.

Stockholm diet for weight loss, Swedish systemic diet menu, reviews and results

The Stockholm diet for weight loss is a special system that includes delicious dietary foods and moderate nutrition. Another version of the Stockholm system is six days of a mono-diet on different foods. Proper compliance brings good weights - from 3 to 6 kg per week. There is also another version of the Swedish diet, it is called “6 petals”. The article provides a detailed menu for the Stockholm diet, as well as a menu for a mono-diet. After them, it is recommended to make an exit, smoothly returning to your usual diet. Before losing weight, preparation is also necessary, consisting of three days, during which harmful foods are eliminated and the caloric content of the diet is reduced.

Recipe examples

Cod in foil:

  • half a kilo of cod fillet, pollock or other low-fat fish;
  • one onion;
  • lemon slice;
  • a spoonful of herbs;
  • coat the fillet with spices, sprinkle with lemon and roll in foil;
  • bake until done.

Can be served with potatoes baked in foil.

Breasts with vegetables:

  • two chicken fillets;
  • sweet pepper;
  • onion;
  • hard cheese;
  • beat the fillet, add cheese, pepper and onion, roll into rolls;
  • wrap in foil and bake.

To ensure that a small amount of food gives you at least a pleasant feeling, don’t be lazy to cook.

If you liked the Swedish diet and want to repeat it, do it no more than once a month, and in the case of the “6 petals” option - once every six months. Otherwise it will be burdensome for your health.

Swedish diet - basic rules

This systemic diet is designed for rapid weight loss by eliminating junk food from the diet and cutting calories.

The new diet includes the following rules:

  • Lack of fast food, sweets and fatty foods. Food cannot be fried, it is necessary to boil, steam, stew and bake vegetables. You can also eat them raw, make salads without dressing (a great option is Brush Salad). Only unsweetened fruits are allowed - bananas, peaches and grapes are prohibited. You should also not drink alcohol, sweet drinks (juices, sweet tea) and soda. It is advisable to adhere to proper nutrition not only during weight loss, but also for some time after it.
  • Eating three times a day. You only need to eat 3 times a day; you can’t eat anything 4 hours before bedtime. Also, if desired, you can divide the portions into 3 main meals and 2 snacks (the daily calorie content remains unchanged).
  • Entry into the Swedish diet. You can’t suddenly start losing weight, it’s harmful to the body. You need to prepare by gradually eliminating harmful foods from your diet and reducing your daily calorie intake.
  • Drink plenty of fluids. Water improves metabolism and dulls the feeling of hunger, so it is recommended to drink more pure water during a low-calorie diet. Coffee and tea have a diuretic effect, so they don't count.
  • Main products. The diet of the Stockholm system is based on recipes from meat, cereals and fermented milk products.

Reader’s story “How I lost 18 kg in 2.5 months” I’ve been fat all my life and suffered from excess weight. In clothing stores I chose size L, which by the age of 25 turned into XL and continued to grow. I can tell you for a long time how I tried to fight my 30-35 extra pounds: diets, hunger strike, physical activity, even pills and some kind of conspiracies. The effect was short-lived or absent altogether. In short, despair, depression and almost resignation to one’s enormous weight. But one day I came across... a chocolate bar that helps you lose weight! It didn’t cost me anything to try it - I love chocolates. I ordered it and ate it. And the weight crept down!! It seems like mysticism, but it's true. I began to study the issue and realized how it all works. Girls, try it! I have already lost 18 kg in 2.5 months. And I continue. It's up to you, but you don't lose anything except weight, of course. Try Choco Burn chocolate for weight loss for 147 rubles.

Diet "6 petals"

One of the varieties of the Stockholm diet is the six-day “6 petals” mono-diet. It lasts almost a week, then you need to carefully switch to your usual diet. The basic principle is to consume one specific product during the day, the rest are prohibited.

Video

The menu for 6 days includes the following components:

  • Fish. You can eat lean fish of any kind; you can steam, boil, bake or stew without oil. You can only add a little vegetables and herbs, drink green tea, other foods are prohibited. It is advisable to drink a lot of water.
  • Vegetables. It is healthier to eat raw and unprocessed vegetables. You can prepare vegetable salads without oil with the addition of herbs, as well as vegetable juices and smoothies. You should not overeat; food should be divided into several meals.
  • Chicken. The diet for the whole day is one boiled or baked chicken without oil (you can add lemon). You can drink tea and add greens to your dishes.
  • Groats. You can eat any porridge except semolina. It is advisable to steam the cereal with boiling water and leave it for some time to swell. You can salt the cereal moderately and drink tea.
  • Dairy products. You can eat low-fat dairy and fermented milk products: milk, cottage cheese, kefir, fermented baked milk and a little sour cream. It is not advisable to consume cheese.
  • Fruits. You can eat any dietary fruit, except bananas, peaches, and mangoes.

Product Lists

According to tradition, I will indicate what you can eat and what you cannot eat.

Can:

  • boiled, stewed, baked or steamed fish;
  • any vegetables (even potatoes), in the form of salads or cooked in a gentle way;
  • fresh fruits, except grapes;
  • fresh juices and fresh juices, both from vegetables and fruits;
  • bran, sprouted grains, buckwheat;
  • chicken and quail eggs;
  • low-fat sour milk.

It is permissible to consume in small quantities:

  • lean meat (chicken, beef, rabbit, turkey fillet);
  • honey;
  • cereal breads;
  • salt.

It is impossible to give up salt completely; its lack can cause problems with the nervous system.

It is prohibited to use:

  • any baked goods, yeast baked goods, bread;
  • strong and weak alcohol;
  • all kinds of sweets and chocolate;
  • soda and store-bought juices.

Nothing is said about smoked meats, semi-finished products, sausages and frankfurters, but this is implied.

Swedish diet without carbohydrates

The Swedish diet is effective for rapid weight loss. Its effect is based on the rejection of fast carbohydrates, which, when entering the body, are converted into glucose and converted into glycogen. If glycogen is not used up before the next meal, it is stored in the body as fat.

When carbohydrates stop entering the body, glycogen stores begin to deplete, and then the body takes energy from fat reserves. This explains the effect of rapid weight loss during the Stockholm diet. Losing weight quickly also has side effects - constant fatigue and drowsiness. In addition, it is difficult for the body to digest large amounts of protein, so it is advisable to eat a lot of greens while losing weight.

The main rules are:

  • duration no more than three weeks;
  • prescribing a course of multivitamins;
  • eat in small portions, 5 times a day;
  • the basis of the diet is proteins and fats;
  • refusal of fast food and products containing sugar and flour;
  • refusal of cereals and sweet fruits;
  • ban on alcohol and any sugary drinks.

A small amount of carbohydrates is still present in the menu. You should supplement your intake with healthy vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cabbage, zucchini). The daily carbohydrate intake is no more than 100 g or 400 kcal.
