Beauty salons offer four main methods for eliminating stretch marks:

  • microdermabrasion - the essence of the method is to polish the skin using a special device. The procedure is practically painless, except for a slight tingling sensation at the site of treatment. In this way, skin regeneration is stimulated;
  • ozone therapy. A mixture of oxygen and ozone is injected under the patient's skin. Thus, the production of collagen and elastin is stimulated, and active metabolic processes begin in the affected areas;
  • peeling, in other words - exfoliation of the skin. There is superficial and deep peeling. The first is suitable for treating fresh stretch marks, the second - old ones. The procedure is effective and painless;
  • surgery (abdominoplasty). It involves removing excess skin. This is the most radical method, which is resorted to in extreme cases.

There is also laser removal of stretch marks. This is an effective and safe method.

Stretch marks after losing weight are common. However, fortunately, you can eliminate this unpleasant problem even on your own, and if you don’t want to do this, there is always a “retreat” option - go to a beauty salon.
