In a salad, it can be replaced, for example, with low-fat yogurt, low-fat sour cream or even yogurt. If you want to add some piquancy to sour cream, add a little mustard and spices to it. Vegetable salads can be dressed with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar.

3. Looking for a replacement for sausage

Most recipes from chefs for the legendary Olivier salad and other meat salads use boiled chicken breast or beef, but many, despite the fact that the times of shortages have long passed, continue to add sausage, which is three times fatter and higher in calories. Moreover, considering the prices for sausages, it is not at all cheaper. You don’t even have to talk about the usefulness - it loses out loudly to full-fledged boiled meat. Does it still have any advantages? I don't think so.

4. Less fatty cheeses!

Cheeses sold in Russia - Russian, Soviet, Dutch, Tilsiter, Edam, Maasdam - have a fat content of 45-55 percent (despite the fact that according to the classic recipe it should be less). That's a lot! Looking for a replacement for wheat flour

Instead of wheat flour, you can use rye, buckwheat, chickpeas... In terms of calories, they are approximately comparable to wheat, but they contain much more useful substances - there are practically no useful microelements left in ordinary premium flour. You can mix several types of different flours!
