I started drinking and didn’t know how to stop

So I decided that I should drink water constantly and in as much volume as possible. Sometimes, instead of the recommended two liters, I drank three liters and felt like a winner.

The process of self-purification seemed to have begun, but somehow not as promised in the book. No stones or sand came out of the body, and there was no bad smell after using the toilet, which was supposed to indicate liberation from certain toxins. A man weighing 80 kg requires 2.4 liters of water per day. A girl weighing 55 kg needs only 1.65 liters of water per day.

period when excess weight is almost gone. Without water, my dears, neither here nor there! Remember one of the most important rules of losing weight!

In order to make the review less monotonous, I will make a small list of questions that arise for me personally at the very beginning of my journey:

1) How much water should you drink so that your body does not need it?

Some people advise drinking at least 1.5 liters of water a day, and some nutritionists advise all 3. I personally adhere to this formula: 30 grams of water * your weight in kilograms is the required minimum. My current weight is 52 kg, therefore the MINIMUM water that should enter my body is 1560 ml. But today I drink a little more - when I want and when it turns out

In summer, naturally, the figure should be maximum. But you shouldn’t approach this issue with excessive fanaticism, they say, the more I drink, the more weight I’ll lose!!! Everything should be in moderation! 5-6 liters of water is already too much for many! Don’t force your kidneys to pray for mercy, take care of your body!))

Rule 1.

Without putting it off until tomorrow, count right now how much water you need to drink. Read below about how to drink if you can’t handle it (who hasn’t done this before), about WHAT to drink.

2) How to force yourself to drink? I am writing this paragraph for those who previously drank either very little or did not drink clean water at all. PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE ONLY ABOUT ORDINARY CLEAN WATER!

I’ll be honest: if you didn’t drink much before “X”, it might be a little hard at first. The water seems tasteless (not tea and cookies, yes), the water doesn’t flow, drinking a glass or two is an impossible task. BUT! This is just the first few days, believe me! Then you will get used to it, and very quickly. You can start with at least 1 liter of water per day (for me in the first 2 days this was a lot, it seemed like there was no room for water at all). In the first days, it is important to understand not only HOW MUCH to drink, but also HOW to drink! I'll tell you about this too

Rule 2.

Our main task is to ensure that the correct drinking regime is established automatically. Let water become a habit that no circumstances can change!

3) When exactly and in what volumes should you drink water?

It is clear that you need to drink water throughout the day. But if you somehow pour a liter bottle of water into yourself in the morning, and then curse yourself all day for every 5-minute run to the toilet - this is completely wrong. You need to drink in small portions. The first intake of water is 1-2 glasses (I have 200 ml) on an empty stomach! This is necessary in order to awaken the body and start the metabolic process. This was probably the most unusual thing for me

But the first step is the most important! You can’t skip it even if you definitely have coffee/tea for breakfast. We drank, waited at least 15-20 minutes - then you can have a full breakfast. Then, before each meal, we should also drink a glass or two of water (as much as anyone can fit and want). You should also drink 15-30 minutes BEFORE meals. You can't drink after eating! Many sites advise that you can drink only 2 hours after eating. I try to adhere to this rule, but sometimes I break it due to a certain rhythm of life or a banal desire to quench my thirst. In this case, I drink about 40 minutes after eating. At least half a glass)

Rule 3.

We drink water, observing the correct time. We drink throughout the day in small portions of 200-300 ml.

4) Is it possible to replace water with some other liquids?

Here the answer is clear: no, no and no again. Juices, coffee, milk and even unsweetened green tea are no longer water. Water is the only liquid that you should drink as part of your drinking regime. Why? Firstly, because water contains no calories. And not only calories, but also sugar (as in juices), fat (as in milk), protein (as in milk and other dairy products). Why not tea? Tea contains special tannins, which just cause a feeling of thirst, having an astringent effect. Tea, especially green tea, is very good. But tea is not water. We drink only the simplest water!!! Sometimes I can substitute sparkling drinking water (usually Bonaqua) for pure still drinking water - but this is very rare.

Rule 4.

Water is water. And don’t even hope to replace it with anything! We drink only in its pure form.

5) Drink water - fat goes away. Is it true?

I’ll say right away: if you weigh more than 70 kg, then at first the weight will fly off quite well even without adding good physical activity. BUT! Fat is lost the slowest, so you will lose weight mainly due to the loss of UNNECESSARY accumulated fluid. If there is a lot of excess weight, then in the first couple, in principle, it is not so important what goes away: your volume will decrease, your body will become more toned. Water also perfectly removes excess salt, which in turn also retains fluid and prevents you from losing weight. If you have a little excess weight, then burning FAT with water is unrealistic. Another thing is that fat burns during physical activity only if metabolism is good. And if you can’t boast of one, then water is the best helper! That is, in the end, WATER helps you LOSE WEIGHT! No matter what weight class you are in

To prove that all the information was taken not only from my head, but also tested from personal experience, I present you with a photo. The difference is only 2 weeks - the result, as they say, is obvious! Initial weight: 55 kg. Weight after: 52 kg. Decided to drink water
