The fact is that if this dose is exceeded, pressure surges may occur, plus goji lowers blood sugar levels, which can cause hypoglycemia in diabetics.
It is best to consult a nutritionist or general practitioner before you start eating goji berries. Specialists will help you choose the individual optimal dose, based on your weight, age, and health status.

- lamb ribs – 800 g;
- ginger – 10 g;
- leek (white part only) 2 stalks;
- goji berries – 50 g;
- white table wine – 2 tablespoons;
- salt, spices - to your taste (it’s better to be careful with spices, most of them can interrupt the taste and smell of goji berries, then their presence in the soup will be almost invisible).
How to cook:
Finely chop the ginger and onion, rinse the goji thoroughly. Boil the lamb in 1.5-2 liters of water for a quarter of an hour, add all the other ingredients of the recipe, cook until the lamb is completely cooked. Next, you need to remove the ribs from the soup, strain the broth, separate the meat from the ribs, combine with the broth, add some berries (the recipe says soaked, I didn’t understand, others or those that were boiled in the broth, I decided that, probably, they need to be returned). They say (in reviews) that you simply cannot find a better option for a warming, tonic soup for a winter lunch.

Porridge recipes are also extremely simple; various cereals and goji are successfully combined. For example, it is recommended to cook rice porridge in the usual way, simply adding a few berries during the cooking process. You need to experiment with cereals, it seems to me that with buckwheat you may not get a very good combination, both products are “strong”, having a specific taste and smell. Rice, millet, semolina, oatmeal, barley are more neutral. Probably, pilaf should be especially wonderful and fragrant.

Goji berry (wolfberry, Goji, wolfberry, Tibetan barberry) is an evergreen shrub that grows in the subtropical climate of China, Tibet and Mongolia. Belongs to the nightshade family of plants and reaches a height of 2.5 - 3 meters.
Dereza vulgaris was discovered by Chinese monks about 5,000 years ago. Ancient people experimented with Tibetan barberry: they consumed it fresh and figured out how to brew goji berries.
