Solovyov’s balanced diet: how the presenter managed to lose weight

It is difficult to imagine that once upon a time the well-known journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov suffered from excessive excess weight. Now he looks slim, fit and always tries to keep himself in shape. Solovyov was helped to put himself in order by a diet that he independently developed. Now on the shelves of bookstores you can find various books by this presenter, in which he describes how he was able to get rid of 70 kilograms.

Vladimir Solovyov's weight loss system

At the moment, the weight of the popular TV presenter is 75 kg with a height of 174 cm, for a man this is considered the ideal ratio. In contrast to the starting weight of 150 kilograms, his weight loss results are simply incredible. How did Vladimir reach minus on the scales, equal to half his own weight?

First of all, his current weight is the merit of proper nutrition. The second important nuance is sports activities. Now let's talk about everything in order.

Diet from Solovyov

It is difficult to imagine that once upon a time the well-known journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov suffered from excessive excess weight. Now he looks slim, fit and always tries to keep himself in shape.

Solovyov was helped to put himself in order by a diet that he independently developed.

Now on the shelves of bookstores you can find various books by this presenter, in which he describes how he was able to get rid of 70 kilograms.

It turned out that losing weight requires not only a lot of willpower and a lot of time, but also significant financial costs. The famous Russian TV presenter was convinced from his personal experience that many people successfully do business with the help of people trying to get rid of excess weight.

Before developing his own method of losing weight, which is now known as the Vladimir Solovyov diet, he had to make a lot of mistakes in this difficult struggle, which are quite typical for many losing weight.

He tried a variety of methods and means: all kinds of tablets, powders, capsules, teas, strict diets, exercise equipment, etc.

Basic principles of Solovyov’s nutrition:

  • fractional meals - frequent meals (5-6 times a day), but in minimal portions (about 250-300 grams);
  • proper diet - you must completely exclude the following foods:
  • sugar, sweets and confectionery (a small amount of natural honey is allowed);
  • pasta and bakery products (you can replace white bread with whole grain rye, regular pasta with an analogue made from durum wheat flour);
  • fatty and smoked foods;
  • preserves and pickles;
  • sparkling water, store-bought juices, fruit drinks and kvass;
  • all “food waste” - semi-finished products, fast food, chips, crackers, sauces, ketchups and mayonnaise;
  • alcohol (red wine is allowed in small quantities).

  • systematic nutrition - meals should be organized at the same time every day, while Solovyov does not have a firm rule not to eat after 19:00 - dinner can be much later, the main point is two, or preferably three hours before bedtime ;
  • drinking regime - you need to start the morning with a glass of boiled water at room temperature (prepares the gastrointestinal tract after waking up), drink at least 2-2.5 liters of purified water without gas throughout the day;
  • regular unloading of the body - once a week it is necessary to spend a fasting day on a single product (watermelon, plums, apples, low-fat kefir) and an unlimited amount of liquid.

Mistakes on the way to success

But before losing weight, the TV presenter tried a lot of modern means for quick weight loss - various dietary supplements and weight loss drugs. And very quickly I came to the conclusion that such methods of dealing with excess kilograms are not effective, the weight is gained again very quickly, you just have to stop taking the medications.

After which Vladimir began to try on himself various diets such as kefir, which give quick results in a short time. But here too he felt a failure. Just like with the drugs, the extra pounds very quickly returned to their owner.

After numerous “stumbles,” the TV presenter realized one very important thing: it is important not only to lose weight, but also to maintain the results achieved. The question remains, how to do both? Realizing that he could not cope with his problem on his own, Vladimir turned for help to a nutritionist, whom all show business stars turn to - Margarita Koroleva.

On site, they developed a unique nutrition program for weight loss, which helped Vladimir finally not only normalize his weight, but also maintain the results achieved for many years. After which a book was published in which Vladimir Solovyov tells how to lose weight correctly and for a long time.

Debunking weight loss myths

The showman's book describes not only his long journey in achieving his goal. While Vladimir came to her, he tried out many different tips on himself, tested on his own skin which of them worked and which were complete nonsense.

He lists the following misconceptions described in the book:

  • You can lose weight if you don't eat. In fact, if you don’t eat, you feel tired, have a headache, and then exhaustion comes. When you start eating again, it is extremely difficult to stop. You want to eat all the time, you are chewing something all the time. The body itself perceives food after fasting as the last in this life, and therefore urgently puts aside reserves. As a result, the person becomes even fatter.
  • It is more profitable to eat a little, and losing weight is inexpensive. In fact, to lose weight you need to reconsider your diet, change some products for others, and this is not always cheaper in terms of money. For some reason, low-fat food here is more expensive than fatty food. Dried fruits, which should be used to replace baked goods, muffins and sweets, are also not cheap. Refined, organic foods always cost more.
  • Expenses will also have to be incurred to replace outfits. In the case of Solovyov, he had to completely change his entire wardrobe: from underwear to winter outerwear. A surprise awaits those people who, at normal weight, have a non-standard figure. For example, the lower body goes two sizes larger or smaller than the upper. This means that some things will have to be sewn individually, and therefore more expensive.
  • You can lose weight at any time. It is on this misconception that so many failures are based. Losing weight is a whole science. Here you need to be ready for many experiments, be able to analyze the results, correct errors, control them and take them into account. Or pay a lot of money to nutritionists - a good specialist in this field will be expensive.
  • To lose weight, just exercise. Yes, active physical exercise will help you get rid of some fat, develop and strengthen muscles, and increase your energy levels. But ask any athlete what role nutrition plays in their training. And he will answer - the first. This is not so much about sports supplements, but about the organization of main and additional meals. Therefore, sport goes only inextricably linked with proper nutrition.
  • Sex helps in losing weight. If we talk about it as physical activity, then see the point above. If we are talking about sexuality, Soloviev claims that he had no problems with it even at 155 kg. It is more of an internal state than something caused by external factors. But with normal weight and good physical shape, the quality of sex, of course, increases.

Sports and healthy sleep are the key points of proper weight loss

In order for the loss of extra pounds to be smooth but stable, proper nutrition alone is not enough. You need to include regular sports activities. Vladimir Solovyov advises devoting at least 30 minutes a day to sports, gradually increasing the load and duration of exercise. Fitness, strength training in the gym, running and cardio - any of the listed methods helps activate fat burning processes in the body.

Equally important in the process of losing weight is healthy sleep. The body fully restores its strength during sleep, so those who are losing weight need to sleep at least seven hours a day, or even more.

The opinion of nutritionists about Vladimir Solovyov’s weight loss system

The TV presenter diet is not a short-term option for instantly losing a couple of extra pounds. Solovyov’s diet is so rational that you can stick to it throughout your life. This method of losing weight does not put the body in strict limits, so it does not weaken it, but, on the contrary, normalizes metabolism, launching active fat burning processes. Vladimir Solovyov’s diet allows you to eat well, while gradually losing excess weight and quickly getting yourself into ideal physical shape.

Today Soloviev looks much slimmer and younger than before, which once again proves a simple truth: not only a person’s figure, but also a person’s health depends on nutrition.

Sports to help you lose weight

A proper and balanced diet, based on following simple recommendations, played a big role in Vladimir Solovyov’s weight loss. But the presenter himself notes that diets alone will not be able to get your figure in order. Regular training should be an integral part of the movement on the path to a slim and fit silhouette. Vladimir Solovyov notes that it is necessary to devote at least half an hour a day to physical activity.

The same situation is with training, which ends with the restoration of spent energy with the help of high-calorie and harmful foods. It’s not for nothing that athletes always select a special menu in which everything is harmoniously composed.

Soloviev especially draws the attention of those who want to get rid of excess weight to the fact that you cannot lose weight using only one thing as a basis - sports or diet. Only by complementing each other will they help you quickly and easily get your body in shape.

As a workout, you can choose absolutely any type of physical activity - regular running, cardio, aerobics, strength programs. The main thing is to base this on your state of health, because some activities are not suitable for everyone. Exercises on simulators are also effective in helping you get rid of extra pounds. Vladimir Solovyov warns that it is important not to forget about proper nutrition before and after training.

To get rid of such an impressive number of kilograms, as Vladimir Solovyov did, seems to many to be an impossible task. By his example, the presenter continues to inspire women and men who want to gain a slim and beautiful body. The main thing is to believe in yourself and set a goal to improve your body’s health. The presenter's simple nutritional recommendations and regular exercise will help with this.

Soloviev boasted of popularity among girls with a weight of 160 kilograms

TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov said that in the past he was in demand among girls, despite being overweight. He shared his memories of this in the program “The Fate of a Man” on the “Russia 1” channel.

“Even at this weight I played football and did martial arts. And the girls loved it. Women don’t care,” he noted. The presenter noted that he used to weigh 160 kilograms, and his third wife, Elga Sepp, was “the size of his leg.”

According to the presenter, he gained weight because of his love for food. “The way I ate was a work of art. These are Lucullean feasts, I could eat everything. I destroyed any food that was unlucky enough to come my way. I did it deliciously, with pleasure, witty,” the journalist recalled.

According to Solovyov, he decided to lose weight not because of health problems, but for a new job. “Initially the problem was simple. I was fired from the channel when it was called ORT (now Channel One - note from Lenta.ru). [ORT General Director] Konstantin Lvovich Ernst did not see any prospects in me as a presenter. He didn't need me. [TV producer] Alexander Levin called me. He was then on channel TV-6,” explained the guest of the program.

Levin invited him to try to work on the channel, but set a condition. “I need you to lose weight. So that you differ in the picture from the Solovyov who was,” the presenter quoted him as saying. The journalist added that this was the main incentive.

Soloviev has been working on the Rossiya 1 TV channel since 2021. He hosted the “Duel” program; the channel currently airs the “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” and “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” programs. Before VGTRK, he worked at NTV, where he hosted the program “To the Barrier!” and "Sunday Evening". He also regularly broadcasts the “Full Contact” program on the Vesti FM radio station, which also belongs to the VGTRK state holding.

Conclusion

By and large, Soloviev does not reveal new secrets of losing weight. Everything he recommends has been known for a long time. He only tells his personal way of using truths familiar to everyone. And it motivates and inspires.

Remember that losing weight should not turn into torture. You need to lose weight with self-love and enjoyment of life. Be sure to notice the pleasant sensations that come with each lost kilogram. Remember how good you feel at a normal weight. This will be an incentive to keep it at the proper level or return if necessary.
