Dr. Laskin's buckwheat diet for weight loss

Dr. Laskin's diet is a method of curing cancer patients from cancer using a special nutrition system. Its author, Russian oncologist Wulf Laskin, developed his diet after thirty years of practice and an endless search for a medicine that can cure a person from this deadly disease. And he succeeded - while researching the problem of cancer, Laskin came across the work of his Japanese colleague, doctor George Ozawa. Aesculapius from the land of the rising sun treated his patients with a strict diet based on brown rice, which in 90% of cases led to complete recovery from cancer.

The doctor adapted the Japanese oncologist’s system, replacing exotic brown rice with our usual buckwheat. This is how the Laskin diet was born - an amazing method of curing cancer.

Highlights of the Laskin Diet

The basis of the Laskin anti-cancer diet and, therefore, the main tool in the fight against the disease is buckwheat porridge. It should be eaten without salt, adding a spoonful of wheat bran and seasoning with extra virgin olive oil.

What is the secret of the healing effect of ordinary buckwheat, and how can buckwheat porridge overcome such a formidable disease? The answer is in the chemical composition of buckwheat: its kernels contain a special substance - quercetin, which has an antitumor effect. It stops the growth of cancer cells and provokes their death, preventing the affected cells from reproducing. By constantly eating “shock” portions of buckwheat porridge, a sick person supplies the body with the necessary amount of this antioxidant, preventing the cancer tumor from growing. This is why constant intake of buckwheat porridge is so important in Laskin’s diet, without any deviations from the menu.

In addition to healing buckwheat porridge, Laskin’s diet includes the mandatory intake of rose hips. It is ground into flour and poured with cold boiled water, adding honey. The resulting mass should be taken 30 minutes before meals.

Throughout the diet, the following foods are strictly prohibited:

  • White bread and pastries;
  • Confectionery;
  • Red meat, sausages and smoked meats;
  • Canned food;
  • Milk and any dairy products;
  • All vegetable oils, except olive;
  • Salt, sugar;
  • Alcohol;
  • Lemonades and store-bought juices.

The diet consists of two periods, each of which has its own characteristics and tasks.

Basic rules and principles of Dr. Laskin's diet

The basis of this method for losing weight is buckwheat and porridge made from it. Of course, everyone has known about buckwheat porridge since childhood, but in order to recover from oncology, and at the same time get rid of belly fat, it must be consumed without salt, but with the addition of wheat bran and olive oil.

But how can ordinary buckwheat porridge overcome such a dangerous and deadly disease as cancer? The fact is that the chemical composition of buckwheat kernels contains a unique substance that has a powerful antitumor effect - quercetin. It promotes the death of cancer cells, preventing their reproduction and growth. Therefore, constant consumption of buckwheat provides a significant increase in this antioxidant in the body, which effectively inhibits the growth of cancerous tumors. Thanks to this chemical composition, buckwheat became the basis of this dietary program. Daily intake of buckwheat porridge is mandatory with this method of losing weight and under no circumstances should you skip or replace it.

In addition to buckwheat porridge, Laskin’s diet requires the mandatory consumption of rose hips, which must be ground in a blender into fine flour and poured with cooled boiled water. Add a little honey to the resulting solution. This infusion should be consumed half an hour before the main meal.

The Laskin diet has no contraindications or side effects. It can be used for diabetes and any other diseases. However, before resorting to such therapeutic weight loss, it is advisable to consult with your doctor. And of course, you should remember that Dr. Laskin’s diet is not a panacea for cancer and should not be used instead of conservative treatment.

The main principles of this diet are:

  • It is recommended to eat raw vegetables and fruits, especially those whose color is red or green;
  • follow the rule: if you can eat a product raw, then exclude any heat treatment;
  • drink at least two liters of pure mineral still water per day;
  • include healthy fiber in your diet;
  • completely eliminate sugar, the daily salt intake should not exceed 0.5 grams;
  • control over the consumption of animal proteins is necessary;
  • The daily intake of animal proteins for men should be no more than 60 grams, and for women - 40 grams.

Based on these principles, we can formulate the basic rules of the Laskin diet:

  1. Avoid canned foods.
  2. Limit your consumption of fried or boiled vegetables to a minimum.
  3. Give preference to red and green vegetables; it is best to eat vegetables raw.
  4. Drink at least two liters of fluid per day. It should be based on pure mineral still water; you can also drink herbal teas and freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices.
  5. Carefully count your dietary fiber and dietary fiber intake.

First period

The first period of the Laskin anti-cancer diet lasts one and a half months (47-50 days). It is characterized by a strictly limited diet - you can only eat buckwheat porridge and rose hips with honey. In addition, you need to drink a lot, at least 8 glasses of water a day. The Laskin diet prescribes daily consumption of berry or fruit juices, one glass per day. Pineapple, orange, grapefruit or blueberry juices are allowed.

Preparing buckwheat porridge:

  • Pour ½ cup of buckwheat into two cups of water and cook over low heat for 15 minutes;
  • Strictly two minutes before the end of cooking, add 1 tablespoon of wheat bran to the porridge;
  • Season the warm porridge with two tablespoons of olive oil (cold pressed).
  • First meal: porridge made from rosehip flour and honey – 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • After 30 minutes: buckwheat porridge with bran;
  • An hour later: a handful of raisins and green tea without sugar.

Friday, April 29, 2011 11:29 + in the quotation book Among all the known anti-cancer diets, the diet of the famous oncologist Dr. V. Laskin currently attracts the most attention. For many years, Wulf Abramovich, like all doctors, treated his patients with chemotherapy drugs and suffered greatly when the patients died. Unlike many of his colleagues, he could not come to terms with the thesis “cancer is destiny” and dreamed of coming up with his own method of not treating, but curing cancer. He read a lot, and somehow he came across an article by Japanese professor George Ozawa about the successful treatment of cancer patients with a 100% grain diet based on brown rice. The idea seemed attractive, but there was no brown rice in Moscow at that time, and Laskin decided to try buckwheat. and then...then the fantasy began. Dr. Laskin came to seriously ill cancer patients with bags of buckwheat, and after 2 - 4 weeks they, as a rule, became walking, and then the disease subsided. In total, more than 30 cases of complete recovery from cancer have been described, including breast cancer, prostate cancer, intestinal cancer, lymphogranulomatosis, lymphosarcoma, skin tumor mercele cancer, and melanoma. These patients and the method of diet therapy are described in detail in the books: 1. V.A.Laskin. cancer defeated, rebirth. Moscow, Dynasty Publishing House, 2006 2. The link is hidden for forum guests. Register or log in to forum.v.i. Dobkin. anti-cancer diet of Dr. Laskin Fis, Golden Library of Health, 2006 Unfortunately, large statistics to assess the effectiveness of the diet do not yet exist, and for this reason. out of 100 cancer patients to whom Dr. Laskin offered his virtually Spartan diet, at best, only 3–5 agreed to follow the “buckwheat” diet. I remember the words of one patient: “I’d rather die with a pickled cucumber in my mouth than eat buckwheat every day.” Despite the obvious improvement, this patient abruptly broke his diet and soon actually died. The explanation for this behavior is that for many people, modern super-tasty food plays the same role as alcohol for alcoholics. Modern foodaholics are accustomed to deriving pleasure from food and relieving stress with it. and without it they become depressed, and even the fear of death from cancer does not stop them! Is it possible to maintain a good mood by following a buckwheat diet? It turns out that it is possible. There is a special class of natural bioactive substances that improve mood and brain activity without harm to health. These are the so-called “smart dietary supplements”, already quite well known in the CIS. These dietary supplements increase the level of hormones and mediators of happiness in the brain (serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, etc.), as well as the sensitivity of nerve cells to them. As a result, the activity of special centers of the brain – “satisfaction centers” – increases. These dietary supplements include sireniti, 5-GTF with tyrositine, brain booster, phosphatidylserine, carnosine, theanine, and activator. The doctor himself explains the success of his diet by the fact that buckwheat contains a record content of the special bioflavonoid quercetin among all food products - 8%!!! the main thing that quercetin does is restore the activity of the p53 gene “broken” in cancer cells or replace its function itself. this p53 gene (tumor suppressor gene) is one of the main regulators in the cell nucleus, regulating cell reproduction. it is even called the “guardian of the cellular genome.” if a cell tries to take the cancer path, the p53 gene causes either a stop in the reproduction of abnormal cells or their death (apoptosis). Unfortunately, the p53 gene is the most frequently inactivated suppressor gene in human tumors. 50–60% of all human tumors lack the normal p53 allele. these include tumors of the brain, lungs, rectum, breast, hematopoietic system and liver. Quercetin restores the function of the p53 gene, thereby stopping the proliferation of tumor cells and leading to their death. Although many foods (rose hips, brown rice, broccoli, etc.) contain a lot of quercetin, buckwheat is the champion in its content. 100 grams of buckwheat contain 8 grams of quercetin!!! the diet contains 300 grams of buckwheat and, accordingly, 24 grams of quercetin per day, and if you consider that the diet also includes rose hips, then, in fact, there is even more quercetin. To estimate these figures, it is enough to recall that a typical American dietary supplement “quercetin” contains 60 tablets of 0.5 grams in one jar, i.e. only 30 grams of quercetin. Dr. Laskin's diet is based on a separate diet with an almost complete exclusion of sugar and salt. in addition, it includes megadoses of buckwheat (especially in the first strict stage), rich in quercetin, a bioflavonoid that helps in the fight against cancer cells. Much attention is paid to vegetables, fruits, rose hips, nuts - rich sources of vitamins, fiber and other useful substances. the amount of protein in the diet is limited, red meat and any products made from it are completely excluded. The diet includes 2 stages: a period of a strict diet is followed by a stage of more varied nutrition. menu at the stage of a strict diet 30 minutes before breakfast: porridge from one tablespoon of rose hip flour; method of preparation: grind 100 grams of rose hips in a coffee grinder to fine flour, sift. (you can buy rosehip filter bags at the pharmacy and not grind them). take one tablespoon of the resulting mixture, dilute with cold boiled water to the consistency of liquid porridge. add one dessert spoon of flower honey to the porridge. eat slowly, in your favorite place in the room. after 30 minutes buckwheat porridge preparation method: pour 0.5 cups of cereal with two glasses of water, cook for 15 minutes. at the 13th minute add one tablespoon of wheat bran.
