The actor's diet (diet 3 3 3 3) is so called because it is very popular among actors, and it was compiled in the second half of the 20th century, when the fashion for thin actresses became stronger in cinema.
There are several options for an actor's diet: for 3, 4, 5 and 12 days. All of them belong to mono-diets and are considered quite strict, since the number of products is limited. Due to the presence of alcohol on the menu, none of the options can be considered healthy. The duration of the diet is selected depending on how many kilograms you need to lose.
The essence and rules of the diet
The number “3” in this case is fundamental not only because of the duration of the diet, but also because you should eat three times a day. Meals should be taken at intervals of three hours and only the same foods should be eaten for three days in a row. These products are apples, cottage cheese and oatmeal. Essentially, the 3 3 3 diet is three three-day mono-diets that follow each other.
You can use this nutrition system for weight loss no more than once every couple of months. Moreover, these should be truly emergency cases when you need to bring your figure into proper condition in a very short time. In addition, following such a diet is very difficult.
Weight decreases very quickly, but then it can return just as quickly and even increase. However, if you do not suddenly switch to the previous option, but gradually add other foods with higher calorie content to your diet, the weight will not return. Boiled eggs can be such products. For some time, it is worth excluding flour products, fried and fatty foods, as well as sweets from your diet.
If we talk about drinks, then during the diet and after it you should not drink sugary drinks. The definition of sweet drinks includes tea and coffee, to which sugar is added, and packaged and canned store-bought juices. Even freshly squeezed juices should not be drunk while on a diet. It is best to drink coffee and tea without adding sugar, milk or cream. It's best if it's green tea. This drink has a beneficial effect on the body and speeds up metabolic processes.
Also, while following the diet, you must drink at least two liters of clean drinking water per day. Water is necessary to speed up metabolic processes, as well as to remove fat breakdown products from the body. In addition, in many cases, the cause of excess weight gain, in addition to excessive calorie consumption, is the accumulation of fluid in the subcutaneous fat tissue. In the first three days, the diet will consist of only two foods - rice and honey, as well as plenty of water. For best results, choose wild unpolished rice, also called brown rice. This product, thanks to the shell remaining on the grains, contains a large amount of minerals and vitamins, as well as fiber. Honey, in turn, also contains many beneficial compounds, as well as glucose. Moreover, these are not sweets that quickly increase blood sugar levels, as a result of which the pancreas produces insulin, which converts sugar from the blood into fat.
On the first day, in the evening you need to pour hot water over two hundred and fifty grams of rice and add three tablespoons of honey. In the morning, the rice should be drained in a colander, transferred to a saucepan, filled with water, and cooked for fifteen minutes. The resulting rice should be divided into five equal parts. Each of them should be consumed in such a way that the last meal is at eight in the evening.
In addition to rice, you can eat three teaspoons of honey throughout the day. To prevent hunger from bothering you, you need to drink a lot of water.
In the second three days you can eat fish or lean meat, as well as honey.
Boil a little more than a kilogram of chicken meat or fish fillet in a saucepan or steamer. Fish should be lean, like cod. Fish types such as pollock or sea bass are also suitable. The boiled product should be divided into five meals. You should also eat a spoonful of honey three times during the day.
During the final three-day period, you should eat the same honey, as well as vegetables.
It is best to choose green vegetables, such as onions, cabbage, squash and cucumbers. However, carrots, tomatoes and other vegetables can also be eaten. Half a kilogram of vegetables should be prepared in any convenient way, just do not fry in oil. The other half should be eaten raw. Also, do not forget about water, which should be drunk in large quantities.
